The pattern for Ella’s twin brother Edwin is now complete. I’ve been trying to get it finished for ages but Christmas and family visits got in the way.
Edwin is a cheeky little elephant 12 inches (31 cms) tall and knitted in DK yarn, on 4mm needles. His clothes also in DK are knitted on 3.75mm and 3.25mm needles.
The play overalls and little cardigan are removeable so a few more outfits will add extra play value for the child and let you go wild finding interesting colour combinations from your stash.
Cute little elephants have become as much a staple in the traditional nursery as the teddy bear and they are just as fun to make and no doubt be treasured for years to come.
