Little Elephant Baby Booties

For the past few weeks I have been working on some new baby booties. It’s just the weather for warm little booties to keep little toes nice and snug. These would make an ideal gift for baby showers or baby announcements.

These cute little booties are knitted in DK yarn on 3mm needles along with the elephant heads.

The pattern comes in two sizes 3-6 months and 6-9 months. All pieces are knitted flat on two needles and sewn together.

The pattern gives row by row instructions and plenty of images to help with construction.

Lily and Monty

Lily is the latest doll in my collection of patterns. With Autumn on the horizon I thought I’d create a doll that was well wrapped up against the cooler days as she takes her cute little puppy Monty out for his daily walks.

Lily is a 13 inch (34 cms) doll knitted in DK yarn on 4mm needles. Her hair is knitted in reverse stocking stitch and sewn in place with strands of yarn added for plaiting (braiding).

Dress, hat and Jacket also in DK yarn are removable, which always adds to the play value of the doll, and you can always make another set in a different colour for her to change into.

Little puppy Monty is knitted in reverse stocking stitch in DK yarn and has his own lead which loops over the doll’s hand.

Lily and Monty would make a great project for the Autumn months and she could be one Christmas present taken care of.

The pattern is a 30 page document which gives row by row instructions to knit the doll, her clothes and little puppy with plenty of photos to help with construction. The pattern is available from Ravelry and Etsy
